  1. Sort of in the same style and vein as 84, Charing Cross Rd., this is a story told in letters between a writer and the inhabitants of Guernsey. As the author tries to unravel mysterious events that occurred in the recently ended 2nd WW, she becomes drawn into the community in ways she never expected. A lovely look at community, friendship, and love. I enjoyed the epistolary style of the novel, and came away still wanting more - as all good books should end.
