As the first book in Charlaine Harris's Sookie Stackhouse series, Dead Until Dark is exactly what it should be. The book hooks people into "place" that Harris has created and propels the further adventures that await Sookie and the gang. The rest of the series does not disappoint!
ReplyDeleteA great read for people who like to be swept away, but don't want too much substance. Pure escape fiction that can really entertain. It is probable that women will enjoy the series more than men, since it focuses so much on Sookie and what she is thinking and feeling.
