I was disappointed with this novel. I had heard such great things about the author and her works, but ultimately I didn't feel that she delivered. The story follows two girls and their aunt as they try to keep together as a family, while the town and their own actions tear them apart.
ReplyDeleteI never felt that I really understood any of the characters or their motivation, and was rather bored with the entire story by the end of the book.
